Our special little B was the only kid who didn't like the beach. He played in the sand for a little while building sandcastles, but the ocean was too overwhelming for him. He has always had a fear of water, and the roar of the ocean increased the fear to a higher level, so we didn't stay at the beach long. We got to boogie board in the ocean for a little while with Jaime, Trent, and Collin and loved every second! Little Logan even caught a wave on the board! He loved every part of the ocean. Barrett ended up sitting up on the chairs under the umbrella by Pops. Zoey had her own personal fanners with Gran and Mom taking turns. Z was hot and B wasn't having any fun at all, so my mom helped me take the kids and our stuff back up to our room while Steven stayed to boogie board longer.
I got Barrett washed off and both kids down for naps. Steven came up to the room and told me to go hang out and do whatever I want so I could get a break, because he is the BEST! Right then, my dad called and said he wanted to take a nap too, so he offered to come to our room to nap while the kids napped so we could go to the adult infinity pool. And this is where Steven and I danced around our room like fools! This pool had one of the best views I've ever seen in my life. We hung out at the edge of the pool with drinks in hand, taking in the breathtaking scenery. Heaven!
Later that night, we had dinner at Spago with the whole group. The food and sunset views were both amazing. Other than Zoey needing a major diaper change right as we settled at the table, we had a fantastic night!
