For Memorial Day Weekend (I know, this post is over a month too late...oops!) we took a family vacation to New York City. My Aunt Carolyn plans trips for our family and this was the third time we have gone to NYC. They are usually girls trips, but this year we took the babies and their daddies :) I was a little nervous about taking a nine month old to NYC, specifically the plane ride, but it actually went pretty smoothly. There were a total of 11 adults, a six year old, a nine month old, and a one month old! We took up all but two seats in first class and the babies were so good! My worst fear was that Barrett would poop on the plane and cry the whole time. Well, right as we were taking off...yep, he pooped. There was nothing we could do because he was strapped in his car seat. He ended up falling right to sleep and we changed him mid-flight, no big deal at all. We were so happy to survive his first plane ride without any melt downs.
We stayed at The Peninsula and it was amazing! We put Barrett down for a nap (in a super cute crib the hotel set up for us) and started our trip off right with some champagne and relaxing in our awesome suite. The first night, we all went to a steakhouse then the guys took the babies back to the rooms while just the girls went to see Annie on Broadway. I LOVED Annie! I grew up watching this movie and it was a dream to see the play on Broadway. We saw Lion King the next night and ate at Carolyn's favorite restaurant, Il Mulino. The last full day was probably my favorite because Steven, Barrett, and I walked to Central Park and spent most of the day outside just hanging out. We took Barrett to the Central Park Zoo and had a blast! Before we went back to the hotel we stopped and shopped a little, where I bought some super cute earrings. The last night we ate at Tao and headed to Times Square. Steven and I ended up strolling Barrett back to the hotel a little earlier than the rest of the group because he was in desperate need of some bath time and sleep! It was really nice to walk so much and soak up the NYC lifestyle. Barrett's vacation was a complete success and also very fabulous thanks to my generous Aunt Carolyn!

| At first glance we thought this was a real wreck. We turned around and realized it was set up for a movie with Columbia pictures. |
