Five Years

We celebrated our five year anniversary this year! This is the second anniversary out of our five married years for me to be pregnant. This year, Steven outdid himself and actually surprised me! We celebrated a couple of weekends before because my nephew's birthday party was on our actual anniversary. I was feeling a little under the weather and staying at my dad's house thinking Steven would get there Friday evening. He calls me around noon and says he took off the whole day and was on his way with Mi Dia food! He walks in with my favorite shrimp and chicken fajitas.....THEN surprises me with an amazing cake he had made from the bakery that made our wedding cakes! I was so happy I cried. The next day, Dad watched Barrett for us and we spent the day shopping, eating more Mexican food, then trying out a new movie theater in Dallas with couches and watching Inside Out. I got an extra day with my hubby, a lot of Mexican food, shopping, movies, and my absolute favorite cake. This is what perfect weekends are made of!

On the actual day, we celebrated at a nice steakhouse then followed with watching Train Wreck at Cinema Suites. Going out with just the two of us is an amazing treat, and every single time we get this chance I have the best time. Steven is my best friend and definitely gets me like nobody else. He amazes me with his patience, kindness, understanding, and so much more. I am a lucky woman because of him.
