14 weeks

I am officially in my second trimester! I can't believe I made it through without any morning sickness! I had a little scare this past week with some intense pain on my left side, but everything is fine now. I am thinking the pain is from growing and stretching. I'm still in my normal clothes and not showing too much, but every day I feel like it is sticking out a little more and more. We are so ready to find out if it's a boy or girl and start making decisions on the nursery. There is a possibility we will find out at the next appointment on Monday! I really want to have a sex reveal party and tell everyone in person, but we will be driving back to Louisiana after the appointment and I don't think we will be able to wait until we come back to Texas. When I think about the baby and it actually being here I picture us with a girl. I don't know if this is some kind of intuition or the fact that I am just hoping for a girl. As long as it is healthy it really won't matter, but I would really have a lot of fun with all of the cute girly outfits and the future girly things to come. Hopefully, one week from today we will know!

How far along? 14 weeks

How big is baby?  About the size of a lemon.

Total weight gain? Two pounds.

Maternity clothes? Not yet.

Sleep? Great. I usually get a burst a energy at night because I am a night person, and last night was the first night since before I was pregnant that I felt that energy boost again. 

Best moment of the week? Closing on our new house...I will blog about that later :)

Food cravings? caramel frozen yogurt from Pinkberry and mashed potatoes...not together

Food aversions? None.

Symptoms: No new symptoms. Feeling great!

Mood this week: Happy!

Movement: None.

What I’m looking forward to: Finding out the sex! I cannot wait!

What I miss: Nothing at the moment.
