Four Months

Zoey is four months old and it seriously seems like I wrote her three month post yesterday! This baby girl is our calm, quiet little sunshine. She loves to smile and watch her wild and crazy family sing and dance. Her fourth month has flown by and been way too busy! I started back to work....working from home with a baby at home full time and a toddler at home most of the time is crazy. Other than the constant juggling and sleep deprivation, we have managed to have way more fun times than we deserve! We have had birthday parties, great news from doctor appointments, celebrated Mother's Day, and found out we are going to Hawaii this Summer!

Weight: 14 lbs 46%
Height: 53%
Head Circumference: 75%
Eye color: I think they will be hazel like Mommy's, but they still change depending on what she's wearing
Clothes: closer to six months
Diapers: size two
Milestones: Rolling on her side (almost to tummy). She has started to laugh. It's very short and held back a little, but it's laughing and the best thing ever!
Sleeping: She slept through the night three nights in a row, then four month vaccines screwed it up.
Eating: Exclusively on Nutramigen formula.
Activities: She likes laying on her play mat and watching the moving mobile and lights. She also will turn to the tv if Barrett is watching something. This month, she has given us signs that she's a little more like her brother than we thought. She doesn't really want to snuggle anymore unless she's really tired. She wants to stand in our lap while we talk and sing...she would seriously do this all day. This ALWAYS makes her smile! She is rolling onto her side and trying hard to roll onto her tummy. She actually did roll over once while in her rocknplay, which totally freaked me out! She will definitely be a tummy sleeper like Barrett.
Favorite things: Mommy singing. Fussy nights are always made better with singing. Besides this, I already mentioned her loving standing in our laps while getting attention. My favorite thing is the love between her and Barrett. The way she looks at him and his caring, attentive ways with her fill me with a kind of happiness I can't describe. These babies fill our nights and days with a lot of work but even more love. Zoey has shown us it's possible for our hearts to love another little soul just as much!
