At 35 weeks, I had another ultrasound and she dropped into the 15th percentile. I had to do a non stress test to make sure everything was okay, and we were once again given great results. We are going to have a small, healthy baby :)
I am now 38 weeks and SO ready for her to make her appearance. I'm dilated to a 2, 50% effaced, and have another appointment in a couple of days. She has been more active the last week and a half than she has been the whole pregnancy. I guess she's getting just as excited as we are for her birthday!
I had a natural birth with Barrett and still cherish the whole experience, so it was an easy decision to have a natural birth with this one as well. I got extremely lucky and just happened to get a nurse who was studying to be a midwife. She helped me get through the worst parts of natural labor and was a huge blessing for me, Steven, and Barrett that day. The last month I've been getting very nervous about getting a nurse who may push an epidural on me in my weakest moments, or just not have the time to help in the way I want. The hospital I'm at this time around is bigger and the nurses don't have as much time to spend with each patient. We made the decision to hire a doula this time around, and I'm already feeling better. We had our prenatal appointment this morning at our house to go over details and exercises that will help ease labor pains. My hope is I can go into labor naturally and have an easier experience than I did with being induced. We will find out soon :)
