Eye color: Mostly brown, some dark green
Clothes: Still about the same size as last month. We buy 6-12 months for the Summer.
Diapers: Size four Pampers Cruisers
Milestones: Crawling and one little tooth that is taking its time to poke through. Both of these things happened on the same day! I have been very emotional about his crawling because he is no longer dependent on me for every single thing. He is changing so fast and I am starting to miss his tiny baby days of napping on my chest and sleeping in our room.
Sleeping: He is finally a good sleeper! We will put him to bed usually around 7:30 and he will sleep for 11-12 hours now! There are still those occasional morning when he will wake up and fuss around 5:00, but he just goes back to sleep. He has started to not fall asleep as easily as he used to, so we will have to lay him down in his crib awake and let him put himself to sleep.
Eating: Still mostly on Nutramigen formula. I am going to ask the doctor about switching at his nine month appointment. We give him solids 3-4 times a week. He loves sweet potatoes, butternut squash and corn, and peas. He still hasn't had any fruit or any other types of food. He is getting better and better with his spoon and wants to hold it and put it in his mouth himself- this causes major messes but it's too cute!
Activities: Crawling all over the place, jumping in his jumperoo, and walking in his cool blue car walker are daily activities. He is still really into music and loves when I sing.
Favorite things: Being with mommy and daddy, being naked, rolling over when we are trying to change his diaper and laughing about it, baths, chick chick, anything that lights up and sings, and doing ANYTHING outside are his favorite things. The best part of my day is when he laughs hysterically. We try to play our "I'm gonna get you" game every day and he can't get enough. We were laughing so hard the other day my cheeks hurt!
