12 Weeks

I was 12 weeks on Sunday and had my second doctor's appointment Monday. This is the first week that I actually feel like I'm getting a small baby bump. This was our first appointment with our new doctor in Denton and we really liked him a lot! He did an ultrasound and it really is the best feeling in the world to see the baby's little heart beating. The baby was moving around so much! The doctor was able to get a really good picture where you can see the arm and hand. It is just so amazing that this baby is about the size of a lime, yet it already looks like a real baby! The sono pictures just make my heart melt! I already love him or her so much!

How big is baby?  The size of a lime

Total weight gain?  None

Maternity clothes?  Not yet

Sleep?  Great! If I didn't have to do anything I would be sleeping constantly!

Best moment of the week? Seeing the baby's heart beat and watching it move around on the ultrasound!

Food cravings? Fruit and chips and salsa

Food aversions? Fish... I love all seafood, but someone mentioned eating fish the other day and it made me feel sick! 

Symptoms: Stomach tightness and still getting tired way earlier than I use to.

Mood this week: Pretty normal, just crying very easily at pretty much anything...Mavs game, American Idol, Ellen...I've always been an emotional person, but this is ridiculous! 

Movement: None    

What I’m looking forward to: Getting a bigger baby bump! 

What I miss: I miss having a glass of wine with salad, and I was a little jealous of Steven's beer at the Mavs game...but I think I can manage :)

Next appointment:  March 5th and we may be able to find out the sex :):):)
