Baby on the Way!

I am so excited to start this blog so that family and friends can keep up with everything that is going on in our lives. Steven and I have been through so many major changes in the last two years and we are now beginning the biggest transition of all....we are having a BABY! We found out a couple of weeks before Christmas so we  decided to tell my family on Christmas Eve and Steven's family on New Year's Eve. We wanted to tell our families in person so it worked out that we were going to Steven's parents house in Montana after Christmas.

I am a planner so I already knew how I was going to tell Steven and my family. I ordered Sophie (our Shih-Tzu/first born child) a sweet little shirt that says "I'm going to be a big sister", so Sophie got to break the news to Steven and then to the rest of my family. It was so much fun telling everyone because no one knew we were even trying! When my dad first read Sophie's shirt, his initial thought was that we were getting another puppy LOL! He was in total shock! My mom couldn't believe it either! Needless to say, this past month has been full of joy!
