I am nine weeks today! So far this pregnancy has been a piece of cake! I haven't had any sickness or nausea so I am feeling lucky. The one symptom I do have that really surprised me is the exhaustion. I am SO tired all the time. I started my internship a couple of weeks ago so I wake up at 6:00 am and get home after 5:00...and if you know me, you know my internal clock is completely off and I would give anything to have the rest of the world change the normal working hours to start in the evening and work through the night. That being said, I am constantly fighting the urge to nap all day long. I've been told that I will get my energy back in the second trimester so I am looking forward to that! I don't have a pregnant belly yet, but I definitely feel and look bloated. All of my normal clothes still fit. Some of my friends told me to go ahead and get some maternity pants because they said I would wake up one morning and not be able to button any of my pants, so I ordered some cute work pants and a pair of jeans from Old Navy and Gap. I have to say that I am kind of excited about having pants with comfy bands around them!

I am so glad that you are doing a weekly baby bump post! I love the chalk board in the background of the first picture too. Cute idea! I had no idea you weren't supposed to have sandwich meat if you are pregnant! How come? That's good to know!
ReplyDeleteThanks I am going to try and do the chalkboard every week!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the sandwich meat thing either until Lauri was pregnant with Remi and she told me. Cold sandwich meat can carry bacteria like listeria, so you should stay away from it or heat it up! It's hard not having my cold bologna and mustard sandwiches!
