Easter 2016

Zoey met the Easter bunny and slept through most of it. Barrett was excited and he really loved getting to take a picture with his baby sister. The photographer asked him to sit beside the Easter bunny because they were worried about him holding baby Zoey, but Barrett wanted to be in his lap too :)

Easter morning started out rough. Waking up with a newborn through the night and feeling super nauseous made for a slow morning. We always go to the church most of my family goes to, but we didn't make it this year. After drinking some coffee I started feeling a little better and we got busy getting everything ready to head to Gran's house. I was determined to feel better because Easter is my favorite! We had a great day with family and I LOVED watching Barrett hunt Easter eggs. This was the first year he really got into it. He wanted to eat every piece of candy when he opened the eggs, and was so excited he got to keep the Star Wars and Thomas the train eggs.

Pure sweetness and wearing a cardigan for the first time.

All the great-grandkids
The best family picture we got the whole day

I showed Roen this car egg and he ran over to get it and stopped and smiled for me. So sweet!
These two were on a mission to see who could get the most eggs.

Micah finally held his niece :)

Four generations
Our crazy, messy, tired, happy family. This is a picture of real life with a toddler, baby, and a bad little shih-tzu! We came home from Gran's to a house full of poop flung everywhere. Sophie pooped and wagged her poop-filled tail all over the house. Before we discovered it, Steven stepped on a spot and tracked it onto the carpet in the playroom. Thank goodness for happy babies and the best hubby ever for cleaning her tail! Happy Easter!
