Firsts

Our first few weeks as a family of four has honestly been a dream...a sleepless dream, but so much better than we anticipated. We were prepared for the worst, so we feel extremely lucky to have such a sweet baby girl who fits into our family perfectly.

I always love looking back at those sleepy pictures from the first couple of weeks with Barrett, so here are a few of my favorites with Zoey.

Barrett loves her and has shown no signs of jealousy. At eight days old, she had her first little photo shoot with big brother, and it melted my heart to watch how sweet Barrett was with his baby sister. 

At nine days old, she had her first bath. She still had her umbilical cord, so it was just a small sponge bath, and the cord actually fell off right after this!
