House Updates!

The city permits arrived on May 4th so the building will begin soon! The forms are set and the crew has already dug the trenches this week! Next step will be plumbing, and I'm hoping it will be done this week if the rain subsides (even though I know we need it). I've heard the crews are getting houses completed in 5-6 months once the permits are approved so that means we could be moving in as early as October! EEEEEEKK! We cannot wait to have our OWN house! I have had plans to do a time lapse of the whole process from one specific angle........well when we got back from vacation, the crew put a giant ugly box RIGHT in front of the house blocking the front porch and the whole view of where I planned to take the pictures. Thank goodness, Steven emailed the sales person asking if the box could be moved so I can document our house properly :). Hopefully, they will understand and it won't be a big deal to move it. The day we got back from vacation we were elated some progress had been made. The frames are set! Barrett is right where our front porch will be.

And this lovely picture is showing the ridiculous box that the crews put up that will be used for the remaining of the building process...not going to fly for me! I am hoping it will be scooted to one of the sides before anything else is done.
