Our New Normal

We have finally settled down into our new normal. Living in two different places and not having a house to call our own has proven to be a little more challenging than I imagined, but now that the holidays are over and we have most of our things organized, it's better. My mom and dad are great roommates and pretty accommodating, thank goodness! I LOVE that Barrett has so much fun spending time with his Na and Pops, and I especially love that Barrett has grandparents who will happily put up with us taking over their homes. Here are some happy moments I managed to capture over the last month. I haven't taken as many pictures lately...I think it's because we feel a little like our life is on hold. This almost two and a half year old brings continuous joy and entertainment to our lives. I wish I could freeze time with this precious boy!

Very happy eating one of his favorites..."Chick A Lay"! (He finishes all of his food every time and I always have to get him something else to eat. He will usually just eat part of my meal, and will dip everything into his Chick A Lay sauce.

Barrett has been holding himself up like this since he was one, and it always amazes us. He will hold himself up completely and swing his body back and forth. He is strong!

He loves having Chlo Chlo & Sophie to love on.

My babyface boy. Terrible twos have started to subside a little, and I get these amazing snuggles more often now.

He officially got his first cut (from a can). He cried and told me he needed medicine. After putting his bandaid on his thumb, he insisted on putting one on his other thumb.

One of our favorite things about moving is playing in the backyard without worrying about the dangers of a pool! Mickey mouse shoes, a beanie, his mower, and a sucker = happiness
