Finally!

Barrett took a bath in the tub without his duck tub and liked it!!! It honestly makes me laugh that this is even a thing, because of all the babies I have kept and known, I have never seen a baby be so particular about the way they bathe. I never thought it would be a big deal to get a baby to transition from baby tub to the regular tub, but I should have expected it from our little bear. He's very opinionated and there is no forcing him to do anything he isn't comfortable with. I knew this was going to be an ordeal when we went on vacation shortly after he turned one. We were on vacation for over a week and he screamed every single time we tried to bathe him because he was terrified to be put in a huge tub without the comfort of his little blow up duck tub. First world baby problems. We've tried to get him to take a bath with his cousins, Remi and Roen, and there was no way he was getting in that tub! He wanted to be bathed in the sink in the baby tub every time he went to my moms. So here is how it happened...
We had the blow up tub put up on the side of our tub because we gave Sophie a bath. Steven was on bath duty and he randomly decided to just put him in the tub and see what would happen. Steven ran to get me and I walked in the bathroom to him just sitting in the tub like it was no big deal. He scooted around and played with his toys. I ran to get the camera and got these precious pics. Whoo hoo! Go Barrett for finally figuring out the big tub is way cooler than the tiny blow up tub! I love this boy more than anything!
