Our Little Walker :)

Barrett is officially walking everywhere! This happened over a month ago but I had to capture this very important milestone on the blog for my memory books. The day before he turned one he took his first steps but didn't actually take more than three steps until 13 months and one week, to be exact. He was having a fussy day and refused to take his morning nap so I took some advice from my cousin and turned on Barney for the first time. He started dancing and stood up and took 12 steps! I guess he is going to be a big Barney fan! He gets so excited and proud of himself when he walks; it is seriously the cutest thing. I guess my baby boy is officially a toddler now and I am loving every day! For a week or two he worked really hard to be a good walker. I know this sounds dumb, but it's true. He would walk about 10ish steps, fall down, and get immediately up to get going again. He would do this all day and would even get out of breath from his practicing and laughing so much. Then one day he just stopped crawling all together. I thought I would be more sad than I am, but it's just pure joy watching my baby become a little boy.
