Bringing Barrett home

After two nights in the hospital we were ready to bring Barrett home and start our new life as a family of three (+ Sophie). 

The whole pregnancy we thought Barrett was going to be around 8 lbs or more. All of our sonograms measured him pretty big, and now we know to not ever trust what they say. He is SO TINY! This is the outfit we had planned for him to go home in and look how huge it looks! We laid him on top of it just to show how little he is.

We set him down in our bedroom and looked at each other and said "Now what?" It felt a little surreal that he was actually here and not in my belly anymore. 

My mom and sister cleaned our house and put this basket together in our room since he was going to be staying in our room for a while. Of course my mom put her favorite burp cloth in the basket.
